How to find old videos without scrolling
YouTube’s channel tab keeps you near the latest upload. That is a poor map when you already know the channel and only remember the year. Channel Timeline is a date-first index of public videos still available: year, then month, then titles. Videos play on YouTube. This site does not host files or reconstruct anything YouTube no longer returns.
The box at the top is the only start. No YouTube login. A youtube.com/@handle, /channel/UC… URL, or channel ID works. On large channels the index continues in the background; browse what has already arrived.
- Enter a channel link or @handle. A single-video URL is not enough.
- Choose a year. Month cards show how many public uploads landed that month.
- Open one month, sort oldest first, or search titles in the loaded archive — not across all of YouTube.
- Select a title when you are ready to watch on YouTube.
The list is public uploads that still exist. Deleted and private videos, previous titles, old channel names, and old profile pictures are out of scope. Details live on the privacy page. Use the guides above for the longer version of each job.
Channel Timeline is an independent tool, not a YouTube or Google product.
